Two in a row for Clontarf SC

Yesterday Saturday 15th 2015 August, Brian Nolan came home first in the Aer Lingus Sea Swim at Portmarnock Beach with a handicap of 8.45, this was a fantastic swim, coming from the back passing 146 other swimmers to get the Win. This also brings Brian’s total number of Sea Swim wins to 12 level with the Club record held by R.H (Richie) Case since 1939. We also had the first two in a row for a Father and Son after Sean Nolan had another great win in Wicklow last week and also this is the first time ever since the Club started open Sea swimming nearly 100 years ago that we have had 4 Open Sea Swim Wins in a Season. Well done again to all the Swimmers taking part, with still a few more races left to go you never know.

Great Sea Swim Win for Sean Nolan from Clontarf

Congratulation to Sean Nolan for wining the Healy O’Kane sea swim race today 9th August 2015 in Wicklow Harbour. Sean had a fantastic race coming from behind catching a number of swimmers to take the win in the final few meters. This is the third sea swim win for the Club in 2015, well done to all the Swimmers.
